In order to be of utmost service to its readers, PP conducts survey our staff and made available both to models and to other physique magazines. from time to time to get an indication of the current thinking of the physical culture public. What other physique magazines do you now read, at least occassionally? 2. Which is your favorite (please don't mention Physique Pictorial in this evaluation). 3. Who do you think is the best physique artist? 4. Which photographer or photography group has the best quality of photos? 5. Which has the best models? 6. Who do you think. is the best model you have ever seen? 7. List in order of preference the next 5 best models which come to your mind. 8. Is a model acceptable to you who has only a mediocre body, but has a very handsome face? 9. Would you prefer that more pictures be shown of massive, bulging musclemen even if they had only plain or even homely faces? 10. Would you like to see us print more photos of models in levis, sailor togs etc.? 11. What is the approximate youngest age a model should appear to be? 12. What is the oldest he should be? 13. Do you prefer backgrounds of photos to be as plain and simple as possible, or do you occassionally like to see an interesting tone or props as long as they are kept subdued enough that they do not conflict with the model? 14. Should most of the photos be full length shots or should a a good proportion of 3/4 and close up views of the body be presented. 15. Small type is used in PP so we can say all we have to say and still show large size photos--would you prefer we say less or show fewer pictures and use larger type, or go on just as we are. 16. Would you prefer Physique Pictorial to use the conventional "layouts" of other magazines (smaller pictures relieved by large white borders, etc) or is our present "jamming and cramming" every available bit of space with photos and copy preferable to you? 18.
